Empowering Lives Through Job Training and Employment
Freedom Industries offers job training and employment opportunities in construction and other trades, equipping participants with valuable skills for stable careers. Our program focuses on individuals on parole and those in the Colorado Department of Corrections (CDOC), as well as other underserved populations, providing job opportunities as they reintegrate into society. Research shows that stable employment can lower recidivism rates by 13% to 20%, highlighting the critical role of job training in successful reentry.
At Freedom Industries, we strive to go beyond the stigma of incarceration by recognizing and validating our participants' inherent worth and potential. We aim to restore dignity and create pathways for meaningful careers. Our dedicated team is committed to facilitating success for those with no prior work experience or those who have faced challenges such as homelessness, mental health issues, and addiction.
We partner with local businesses to offer hands-on training in specific trades, fostering skills that promote life stability. By building teams, we encourage a sense of community while instilling a strong work ethic and a sense of responsibility. Our mission is to transform lives and create healthy, contributing members of society by offering training and job placement at all levels of employment, including support for those looking to start their own businesses.
If you are currently on parole, in CDOC, or part of another underserved community and planning to transition to Mesa County, Freedom Industries is here to assist you with both housing and employment—all in one place!
You can secure a job while still in CDOC and begin working immediately upon your release. As a construction apprentice, you will acquire a range of skills in the construction industry.
